Shut up Phil and let them play

The New York Knicks are showing just how tough it is to play in New York. The Knicks are playing great basketball and have won 7 out of their last 10. Apparently that is not good enough for King Phil Jackson. Jackson had something to say about it. In an interview this past week King Jackson said, “Carmelo is holding onto the ball too long.” I don’t know if Jackson is new to Carmelo, but that’s how Melo plays. Carmelo Anthony has to have the ball in his hands for the Knicks to be successful. I give Melo credit for being the bigger man, and talking about how well his team is playing and how he is blocking out any negativity. You can tell that King Jackson’s comments are bothering Carmelo, because he has even consulted Kobe… yes THE Kobe Bryant on how to deal with it.

At the end of the day, the Knicks are playing great basketball and seem to have great locker room chemistry. I don’t get why Phil Jackson won’t shut the hell up and let the Knicks play. If he continues to publicly call out his superstar I wouldn’t be surprised if his superstar wanted to be traded. That’s saying a lot for a guy who seems to love New York even when they’re losing. SO PHIL SHUT UP!

There is no question that King Phil is disrupting what the Knicks are doing and for that I give King Phil a lousy grade of...
