The Chicago Bulls are the only team to have 14 players on their roster to start the NBA season. The NBA allows you to carry 15 players on the roster during the season. There are reports by the Chicago Tribune and Shams Charania of The Vertical that the Bulls are in talks with former Boston Celtic R.J. Hunter. This would add more depth to the Shooting Guard position where the depth on the team is only two deep.
This is a good, solid move for King Gar to pick up a former 1st rounder who will be able to add depth because Dwyane Wade has been injury prone the last few years and it gives you a little more insurance at that position during the season.
Hey, who knows maybe R.J. can have one shining moment like he did in the NCAA tournament when he hit a 3 pointer to beat Baylor in the first round.
